Eursap’s SAP Tip of the week: Fiori settings – displaying your user group contents

Fiori settings – displaying your user group contents

When you display your Fiori content, it is pretty common to display all the groups at once on the same screen, as below – you can see the group “Enterprise Search” with all the apps, at the same time as seeing “Output Control” and all apps etc. However, this can make for a very busy screen and can also affect performance adversely if you have many user groups assigned to you.

There is a setting change you can make in Fiori to show just the individual groups one at a time as you click on them. This makes for a much cleaner screen and improves performance significantly.

To do this, click on the person icon (on the right hand side of the screen for Fiori 3.0 user interface, on the left for Fiori 2.0 and lower) and select “Settings”:

Then select “Home Page” and amend your Home Page Display to “Show one group at a time”:

Once you save this setting, your Fiori screen will appear much cleaner with just the one selected group displayed, as below:

I hope you find this useful! Stay tuned for another SAP Tip from Eursap next week!
