Eursap’s Tip of the Week: Creating and managing sales plans in SAP Fiori
The Manage Sales Plans app is intended to allow your sales teams to create sales plans for themselves whereby they can track performance over time using the Sales Performance app.
The creation of a sales plan is simplicity itself. Simply open the Create Sales Plan app in the Fiori launchpad. Click on the “Create plan” button and then select either a quantity plan or a value plan.
Then add your dimensions as below – these are the attributes used to select the data – and save the plan.
Once saved, the “Download” button becomes available, from where you can download the template into Microsoft Excel and fill it in and save it locally and then upload back to the app.
Once your sales plan is uploaded, you can monitor the performance against that plan by using the SAP Fiori app “Sales Performance”. This app can show the sales results against the sales plan in a chart or graphical format, with filters as standard.
This app is a really good example of a standard analytical Fiori app – it is very simple to use and offers lots of flexibility.
