Eursap’s Tip of the Week: Area menu for ABAP programming transactions

Remembering all of the transactions for ABAP programming can be tricky – SE80, SE11, SE95, SE37, BAPI, SE24, SMOD, CMOD etc.

Sure, you can add them to your favourites, but wouldn’t it be nice if there was a pre-existing menu option which gave you all those transactions in one place, in a logical menu tree?

Look no further – there is.

Use transaction S001 to open the area menu for the ABAP Workbench.

The menu structure is split into four folders for ease of access, as below:
