Eursap’s Tip of the Week: A quick and easy way to access ABAP documentation

Eursap’s Tip of the Week: A quick and easy way to access ABAP documentation

When you are in an ABAP program, an easy way to view help documentation for key words is to click on the word and press F1.

However, if you need to see the documentation for a given search term without being in a program, simply use transaction ABAPDOCU.

This brings up a dialog box as below, where you can add the search term.

The transaction ABAPHELP opens the same library but there are a couple of additional options, such as language and additional help settings about whether to open the library in a new window or not.

I hope you find this useful! Stay tuned for another SAP Tip from Eursap next week.
