Our end-client based in Bern, Switzerland has a fantastic job opportunity for an SAP FI Consultant to join their in-house team. This is a very modern thinking company, always looking to the future and implementing modern working practices. Flexible working hours and the option to work remotely from home up to 20% is quite normal within the organisation.
This is a key position acting as the interface between the business side and IT. In this role, you apply your expertise in finance combined with your SAP knowledge in a result-oriented manner. You will be the contact person for our internal customers, supporting and advise the various specialist teams in the financial sector in mapping the requirements of the company’s SAP ERP systems. In addition, you are responsible for the further development of the vendor workflow (SAP AddOn). You help your teammates answer complex daily business inquiries and take an active role as a troubleshooter (2nd level support). You will work in projects and also lead challenging projects too. You are the interface to IT and accompany the implementation of requirements through to acceptance tests, training courses and introductions. You actively observe developments on the market and provide input for the further development of processes. You maintain documentation and also understand the underlying Customizing settings within SAP FI. The company is on the transformation path towards S/4HANA; some systems have already moved over to version 1809.02.
70% of the job is focused on SAP FI and 30% on SAP CO topics.
You have at least three years experience in application support of SAP FI/CO systems and have in-depth knowledge of processes in SAP FI/CO. You are an outgoing personality, motivated and imaginative. Combined with training in project management, make you the ideal candidate for this job. Your analytical thinking as well as the high implementation and success orientation support you in your daily work. In a lively environment between business administration and IT, you always keep an eye on the essentials and are able to process the resulting work efficiently and with priority.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of at least 3 years of SAP FI/CO experience
- Must have good knowledge of SAP FI: AA, AP, AR, GL
- Should have a good general overview of SAP CO
- Must have experience in managing or leading SAP FI projects.
- Must have a minimum of C1 level German language skills. This is important as all meetings, conversations, documentation is in German
