Our reputable end-client based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, has a fantastic job opportunity for an SAP MM Retail Consultant to join their rapidly expanding team and help them to full digitization along the company’s entire value chain, from product design all the way to the end-consumer.

Running the high end SAP FMS system, a game changer based on the top performance technology (HANA), our client is developing for the full scope of Omni-channel retailing with SAP being the backbone of all the flows. You will be working with the state-of-the-art technologies and the latest SAP products, such as FMS (Fashion Management), CAR (Customer Activity Repository) and FIORI.

Being the SAP MM/Retail Specialist you will be responsible for the transformation of the global processes relevant for the Retail area of the business (full price, outlet, concession, consignment and eCom) whilst working on SAP Retail relevant projects and change requests.

Your Role:
* Analyze proactively processes and systems to identify areas of improvements
* Work as a Solution architect on the investigation and implementation of the newest (SAP) technologies
* Within the multi platforms projects and change requests be responsible for the design of the SAP Retail relevant processes flows and the integration with other platforms in different process flows, such as:
– Stock transport order flows for retail Stores
– Store to Store movements
– Stock protection and stock sharing
– Replenishment via Stock Transport Orders
– Intercompany stock flows
– Store Inventory Management
– Store Operations via SAP Gateway/FIORI
– POS Outbound to own POS and EDI partners
– Integration with RDIF solutions in the stores
– Promotions, Bonus buys and Gift cards
– CAR Integration
* Provide expertise in analysing new business requirements while assessing impact and striving for the most adequate and optimum solutions
* Help business in determining technical solutions in SAP FMS (build prototypes)
* Write functional specifications, unit test and support business UAT
* Provide support before, during and after Go Live to the key user community
* Guide/train first level support

Knowledge and experience:
* 3+ years of experience in the similar role
* Experience in blue printing/solution designing and daily support
* Hands-on implementation
* Solid knowledge of Stock transport orders, batch management, moving average price, replenishment and intercompany flows
* End2End in depth understanding of Retail processes from the planning until sales in stores

Nice to have experience (not essential):
* SAP FMS, SAP logistics, POS Outbound, POS Inbound, SAP AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution)
* Business Process knowledge in the fashion industry
* SAP FIORI knowledge
* POS DM knowledge
* Debugging of ABAP code (to locate issues)
