SAP ABAP Developer – English Speaking – 100% Remote (work from home). Part-Time (3 days per week). Flexible Start Date from August 2024 onwards. 6 Month Contract (high possibility of extension).
Daily Rate: Our client is seeking the most competitive rates possible from the market. The target rate on offer is in the region of €300/day.
Our client requires an SAP ABAP Developer to assist them from August on a Part-time basis (2-3 days per week). Due to the role not starting until August, this could also be an ideal opportunity for someone who is currently in a Permanent Job and is looking to switch to Freelance Contracting. This will be a 6 month initial contract with a very high chance of further extension.
Main Tasks:
- Programming ABAP report, web service interfaces, OData services, enhancements and other ABAP programs.
- Communicates well in English
- Translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Technical Analysis. Technical design. Effort estimations.
- Testing (unit testing and integration testing)
- Drafting technical documentation.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, diagnosis of programs and web services.
- SAP customizing of complex technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Must have over 3 years of ABAP development experience
- Must have experience with programming ABAP reports
- Must have experience with web service interfaces
- Must have experience with OData services
- Must have experience with enhancements
- Must have EU Citizenship
- Must live within the EU (remote work must also be performed from within the EU)
- Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
Work Load:
- Start: August 2024
- End: February 2025 (possible to extend until the end of December 2025)
- Assignment: 3 days/week (72 days approx.)
- Monday – Friday
- 8 hours per day (on average)
