SAP System Administrator (Authorizations / User Management) – Spanish Speaking. Location: Catalonia, Spain. 90% Remote Work. Flexible Start Date from May 2022 Onwards. Permanent Job. Salary up to €50,000 gross per annum + €5000 Bonus + Benefits. END-CLIENT!

Our End-Client is a multi-national manufacturing company based in the Catalonia region of Spain.  They are looking for an SAP System Administrator to work in an international environment who will focus on the key areas of SAP User Management, Authorizations, Integration and other System topics.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As an SAP System Administrator, reporting to the Head of IT, you have the following responsibilities:

  • SAP User Management: Maintain user master data and passwords / resets across all SAP systems based on IT governance processes. Coordinate license needs.
  • SAP Authorizations: Assign existing authorization profiles across SAP systems to users as per request and authorizations. Extend profiles as needed and drive creation of new authorization profiles as needed, coordinating with external partners where required. Pro-actively support and direct a consolidated, centralized and coordinated approach for authorization concept, implementation, and maintenance.
  • SAP Integration: Monitoring of SAP integration topics and interfaces with other applications, resolving issues and work with service providers where necessary to correct and/or implement functions
  • SAP System: Locate and implement SAP notes in cooperation with service partner as and where needed and support SAP basis activities
  • IT Governance: Support continuous development of IT processes and procedures to ensure growing maturity

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have SAP HANA expertise
  • Must have experience with SAP User Management
  • Must have experience with SAP Authorizations
  • Must have experience with SAP Integration
  • Must have experience with SAP Notes
  • Must have experience with IT Governance
  • Previous experience of at least 4 years in a similar role
  • Additional certificates and courses focusing on machine learning are beneficial

  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English

Working Conditions:

  • The company offers flexible working hours: the typical working schedule is from 08:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Thursday.  On Fridays from 08:00 to 15:00.
  • 8 hours per day. 1 hour for lunch

Remote Working:

  • 90% remote working.
  • To begin with, when you first join the company, during your probationary period, the company will expect you to be onsite in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Once you have completed your probationary period, the company will increase your remote working so you would only need to come into the office for just 1 day every 2 weeks.
  • Due to the need to come in to the office at least once every two weeks, it is advisable to live within a reasonably commutable distance of the office.


  • The salary on offer is subject to your level of skills, knowledge and experience and ranges up to €50,000 gross per annum.
