Entry-Level SAP FI - IT Help Desk Support Technician

Entry-Level SAP FI - IT Help Desk Support Technician (No previous SAP experience required! Full training given!) - German Speaking - Barcelona or Mallorca (Majorca), Spain. We are considering candidates with no prior SAP experience, recent IT graduates, Junior IT professionals, Key Users looking to make the step up into becoming an SAP Support Technician, or even those who already have a few years of SAP experience. If you already have a couple of years of SAP experience (as either a consultant or key user / super user), this would be perfect as the client also has more senior positions in the team too; so we are open to receiving applications from candidates at all experience levels from entry level to senior level.

Our end-client, a well known Retail company in Spain, has an office in Barcelona.  They are currently offering a rare and exciting career opportunity. This is an entry-level position (however, they also have more senior level positions open in the team too), where unlike most clients, our client is willing to hire candidates with no previous SAP experience and will train you to become a SAP Support Technician/Analyst.

We are looking for candidates who are pro-active, ambitious and motivated to develop a career as an SAP Support Technician - SAP is the world's number one ERP system!  This is a unique and fantastic opportunity (the likes of which does not come around often), for someone looking to start a career in SAP from scratch.

Your profile:
Essential:

• Must have one of the following:
• University Degree (in IT/Computer Science or a similar subject) OR
• Experience in 1st / 2nd / 3rd Level IT Support or IT programming OR
• a couple of years of SAP experience either as a key user / super user or consultant/support analyst
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Pro-active
• Strong communication skills
• Good organisation skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
• Must be results oriented and demonstrate a ‘can-do' attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

Languages: 

• Must be strong in German (minimum B2 Level).
• Must be strong in English (minimum B2 Level).

Main Tasks:

• You strengthen our international team, working with the SAP system with a focus on Accounting and Controlling
• You work on tickets and other tasks related to operational processes 
• You support our Key users and Business Solutions Experts - colleagues from all companies within the Group - with troubleshooting of incidents, solving problems and implementation of software changes.
• You prioritize, analyze, document and process incoming incident tickets.
• Your activities also include close cooperation with the specialist departments and the internal and external development departments.
• If necessary, you train the local support departments with specially created training sessions.
• Continuous optimization of the support and operations processes is one of the focus points on your day-to-day work.
• You handle proactive and reactive problem management to avoid long-term disruptions in SAP FI Systems.
• You collaborate with other departments, document new processes and help to transfer the acquired know-how to other team members.
• You are the service contact person for application support

Trainings to new employees take around 2 months done within the team. Training is focused on the support needs required.

Remote Working:

• The company has a hybrid working model - up to 12 remote days per month.
• You will have the freedom to choose which days you want to work in the office and which days to work remotely.
• There is no set schedule and you have complete freedom to pick and choose your own working schedule to an extent.  There will be some days when a team meeting/workshop is scheduled and you must attend the office on the specified day.
• You can NOT work remotely from outside of Spain.  If you do not live in Spain, then you must relocate to Spain.  You can live anywhere in Spain as long as you are willing to commute to the Barcelona office (ideally 1 -2 days per week in the office).

Salary Package:

• The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is subject to your skills, knowledge and experience and ranges between €30,000 - €35,700 gross per annum.

Spanish Work Permit:
