Our end-client based in the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, has an exciting in-house job opportunity for a Microsoft Integration Consultant (with SAP-Microsoft Integration experience).

As Integration specialist you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the integrations between MS Power Platform (Dataverse Sales and Service modules) and SAP. 

You will  be responsible for their custom modules spare part catalog and their installed base which is a core part of our sales and service process and based on Power Platform (Dataverse) and SAP knowledge. You will transfer these modules to the latest technologies (S/4HANA + MS Power Platform). You'll deal with ongoing integration topics.

The company is currently running SAP ECC6 and at the design phase of migrating to S/4HANA using SAP's Clean Core approach housing all their data within the cloud using Microsoft Power Platform.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and implement integration architectures between Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft Fabric (Data Pipeline, Dataflows Gen2, General ETL techniques) and SAP (ECC / S/4HANA).
  • Lead end-to-end integration projects including requirement gathering, architecture design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams. Guide the development team to build stable and reliable integrations scenarios.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, ABAP, and functional teams to ensure choosing the right technology, compatibility and performance.
  • Define governance, security, and compliance standards for integration solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines, delta logic determination using Microsoft Fabric technologies or Azure Integration.
  • Extend MS Dataverse to build streamline integration by using Custom API or plugin design (C#).
  • Coordinate SAP implementation tasks with SAP Development Team (Custom RfC, Custom APIs, CDS Views).
  • Stay current with Microsoft and SAP integration capabilities, best practices, and roadmap.
  • Act as a Technical Integration Owner, responsible for all Integrations between SAP and their MS Dataverse landscape.
  • Coordinating the Support Team, which will work on integration monitoring and potential issues.
  • Monitoring and delivering development tasks / sprints / service packs according to agreed plan with platform owners and project managers.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

  • Integration experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Model Driven Power Apps / Dataverse).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric Dataflows or Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps).
  • Several years experience in predecessor integration technologies such as BizTalk, SSIS, .NET Connector.
  • Experience Azure integration stack: API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, and Logic Apps.
  • Deep understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA architecture, data structures and integration technologies including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData / API services, PI/PO.
  • Understanding of technical products and their representation in SAP.
  • Familiarity with the SAP classification system and feature management.
  • Good knowledge of all the main integration points between Microsoft Dataverse and SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, PP etc.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing SAP-to-Microsoft integrations.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premise integration scenarios.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
  • Should have Agile project experience and DevOps mindset.
  • Willingness to trave to Switzerland once per quarter for 2-3 days.

Nice to have but not mandatory:

  • Experience with MS Azure DevOps is nice to have.

Languages:

  • Must be fluent in English (minimum C1 level)

Salary:

  • The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is subject to your level of skills, knowledge and experience and ranges up to CHF 150,000 gross per annum.

Remote Working:

  • This is a hybrid job and you are expected to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

  • Relocation assistance: the client can offer lump-sum relocation assistance of up to:
    • CHF 7000 for a single person currently living outside of Switzerland.
    • CHF 9000 for a family currently living outside of Switzerland.
    • CHF 2000 for a single person currently living within Switzerland.
    • CHF 3000 for a family currently living within Switzerland.
  • Sponsorship for a Swiss work permit is not possible.
  • All candidates must therefore have either EU or Swiss Citizenship or have a valid work permit for Switzerland.
