SAP ABAP Developer - English Speaking - Slovakia (Hybrid - Onsite + Remote) - Permanent (or B2B) Job - Flexible Start Date from November 2025 Onwards. Salary up to €48,000 gross per annum + Great Benefits (or B2B).

Our client has several offices in Slovakia. They have a fantastic opportunity for an ABAP developer to join their growing team.  They are open to both juniors or seniors offering great opportunities for career growth.  As an SAP ABAP Developer you won't just be a team member; you'll be the vital force powering their dynamic culture. During your initial training, you will be introduced to their business and product portfolio, after which you will be responsible for development of software tools which support their consulting services and the software products delivered to their customers.

They are searching for an SAP ABAP Developer who is passionate about emerging technologies like Hadoop, HIVE, and in-memory databases and is highly enthusiastic about developing ground breaking products for Big Data management, business transformations, test automation, and data analytics.

They are open to hiring people either as permanent employees or on a B2B basis.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in ABAP development.
  • Must have strong knowledge of DB systems, SQL language, object-oriented programming and UML.
  • Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate client business requirements into a detailed functional and technical design documentation.
  • Should have a strong willingness to learn new skills.

Daily Tasks:

  • End-to-End participation in the software delivery life cycle, collaborating with stakeholders, from analysis and design to creating data models.
  • Defining user interfaces with the focus on maximizing usability and user experience.
  • Creating work packages for other team members & effort estimates.
  • Supporting customer implementation projects & customer support.
  • Sharing knowledge within your team and across teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Your tasks may vary based on your skills, experience, and competencies.

Languages:

  • Must be fluent in English

Salary Package:

  • The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is subject to your skills, knowledge and experience and ranges up to €48,000 gross per annum (or B2B equivalent)
  • The salary includes a variable bonus part
  • If you are looking to be contracted on a B2B basis, then your daily rate is open for discussion.

Remote Work:

  • There is a lot of flexibility regarding this topic.  The amount of remote work is subject to your proximity to a local office and your level of seniority and how well you are able to work independently.  Junior developers will likely need to be in the office more often to receive training and support whereas seniors can expect to receive more remote flexibility.  Those living in close proximity to their local office will also be expected to come in more frequently.
  • This is a hybrid job in which they expect you to come into the office so 100% remote work is not possible. Even seniors are expected to occasionally come into the office.
  • You can not work remotely from outside of Slovakia.  You must live and work somewhere inside Slovakia.

Work Visas:

  • Sponsorship for a Slovakian work visa is not possible. All candidates must already have the right to work in Slovakia before applying.
