SAP EWM Consultant

SAP EWM Consultant - English speaking - Gothenburg, Sweden. 12 Month Contract Assignment. Start Date: 13th April 2026.

Our client in Gothenburg, Sweden is looking for an SAP EWM Consultant to lead and facilitate Fit to Standard (F2S) workshops as part of an SAP S/4HANA transformation. 

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM (embedded or decentralised) within S/4HANA programs
• Proven experience leading F2S or Blueprint workshops for warehouse processes
• Solid understanding of: warehouse structures & storage types, inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes, picking, packing, staging, and loading, physical inventory & cycle counting
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts and template-based or factory-style deployments
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
• Experience working in large, complex ERP transformation programs preferred
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to challenge requirements and drive standardisation
• Strong analytical, documentation, and decision-structuring skills
• Comfortable working with global, multi-country business teams and warehouse operations

Nice-to-have Experience

• Exposure to warehouse automation, RF framework, and monitoring tools

Main Tasks

• Design solutions aligned with warehouse automation maturity and operational complexity
• Ensure EWM design alignment with end-to-end logistics processes (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Manufacturing, Finance)
• Prepare and maintain: F2S workshop decks, end-to-end warehouse process flows, fit-gap and design decision logs, functional specification inputs (for gaps only)
• Ensure all design decisions are traceable, approved, and aligned to the global template
• Collaborate closely with: SAP MM (Inbound & procurement integration), SAP SD (Outbound & shipping integration), SAP PP / Manufacturing (Staging & production supply), SAP TM (Transportation Management) where applicable, SAP FI/CO (Inventory valuation, postings, and settlement)
• Support discussions related to: Embedded EWM vs decentralised EWM, automation and RF framework usage, legacy WMS coexistence or transition scenarios
• Ensure compliance with SAP Activate methodology and program governance and design authority standards
• Support design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and quality checkpoints
• Contribute to cutover, data migration validation, and hypercare readiness from a warehouse perspective

Location:

• This is an onsite assignment  which requires 5 days/week onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden.
