Our end client in Lisbon, Portugal is looking for an SAP FI consultant to join their business, to work in ECC Solutions and help prepare their transition to S/4HANA.
You are the connecting link between business processes and technology and work closely with both production and support teams in IT, and in the business analysing improving and automating financial processes and provide technical support for these projects, and will have the opportunity to gain exposure to other modules in SAP SD & SAP MM as well as Security & Authorisations.
You will be responsible for responsible implementing and optimizing the SAP Finance (FI) module. This is a dynamic and challenging role in a very international environment with both internal and external customers. You will work in on the current ECC environment and work with the rest of the SAP Team to prepare for the S/4HANA transition scheduled to start in 2026.
In parallel with the S/4HANA transition, the business will start transferring many of the out sourced functionalities for SAP back in-house, expanding the opportunities for growth in what is already an exciting growth opportunity.
Requirements
- SAP FI experience
- Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles
- Customer-oriented and have excellent communication
- Good knowledge of processes, methods (agile), structures and cultures within business and IT organizations
- Result-focused and decisive in decision-making situations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both in reading and writing
- Strong communication and social skills
- Proactive and customer-oriented team player with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing SAP ECC solutions
- Preparing with project teams for the S/4HANA transition
- Analysing and optimizing business processes within Finance and Supply Chain
- Support end users and troubleshoot where possible
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and technological innovation
