Our client, a well known global consulting firm with multiple offices across the globe is currently expanding their SAP team and open to receiving profiles from medior to senior level SAP HCM-PY (Payroll) Consultants who have South African Payroll customising experience.

Role Description:
In this role you are responsible for consulting with clients on their requirements, capture the requirements into a blueprint and ultimately implement these changes. The work will be done in a project mode, were you will work closely together with the responsible Project Manager.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of SAP HCM-Payroll Consulting experience
- Must have strong South African payroll knowledge.
- Must have strong South African Payroll Customising / Configuration knowledge
- Must have solid functional/ blueprinting knowledge.
- Must have good teamwork skills, being able to work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals and accomplish business results
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have good analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships and implications
Languages:
- Must be fluent in English
MAIN TASKS:
Analysis & Consultation:
- Perform blueprinting workshops to gather information on the client’s requirements
- Design and document the client’s solution including their business requirements and any program specifications required according to documentation guidelines
- Take ownership of issues & gaps between client requirement and standard templates and work with other project streams/areas to resolve them
Integration & Testing:
- Liaise with clients throughout the data cleansing, mapping and conversion phase and provide any assistance required including reconciliation
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the SAP Products, of SAP related news and any developments to the product and its competitors
- Possess strong SAP Payroll Configuration skills
- Support clients through the User Acceptance, Parallel Testing and Go-Live phases
- Responsible for achieving estimated days as per strategy
- Ensure that all deliverables are created on time and accurately as per project schedule
- Ensure timely handover to Client Services following handover methodology
Product Knowledge:
- Possess the high level of HR and payroll knowledge and the necessary competencies to deliver the maximum value to clients
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the template and ensure that the template is adhered to
Project Planning / Management Activities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager assigned to the project and Line Manager, providing regular status updates and early warning of any slippage/ problems that may occur
- Provide relevant coaching and knowledge sharing opportunities for other members of the project team
- Liaise with internal groups including BASIS, Client Services, Application Support, Project Management and Product Management to ensure that client's receive the highest levels of client service.
- Works in close relationship with Implementation Consultant, off/near shore team
Locations of Employment and Remote Work:
- The company has two offices: Pretoria, Gauteng and Cape Town.
- The company has a strong preference for hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
- For people who live a great distance from a local office, up to 100% remote work can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
- You can NOT work from any other country.
Salary:
- The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is highly competitive and subject to your level of skills, knowledge and experience. We are open to discussing what your expectations are.
- 15% Bonus per annum for senior consultants.
Benefits:
- Medical Aid Subsidy of ZAR 2675 per month
- 10% of annual salary for Provident Fund (5% comes out of your annual salary and 5% is paid over and above the annual salary)
- Risk Benefits (100% company contribution)
