SAP IS-U Billing Consultant

SAP IS-U Billing Consultant - French Speaking - 80% On-Site / 20% Remote Working in Luxembourg. Start Date: 7th April 2025. 4 Month+ Contract Role. End Client!

Our major Utilities client in Luxembourg is looking to hire an experienced SAP IS-U Billing Consultant to perform a comprehensive grid usage tariffication audit on the SAP ISU (Industry-Specific Utilities) system.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a detailed audit of existing billing processes in the SAP ISU system to evaluate their current state, performance, and alignment with business goals.
• Rate Category & Billing Schema: Verify that the assigned rate category and billing schema align with regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Billing Document Accuracy: Audit completed billing documents for correctness in energy and grid usage charges.
• Pricing & Tariff Calculation: Ensure grid usage pricing (e.g., peak demand charges, time-of-use pricing) is correctly applied.
• Rebilling & Billing Adjustments: Check for consistency in rebilling scenarios and ensure corrections follow regulatory requirements
• Invoice Document Processing: Verify that invoices are correctly generated, formatted, and sent out
• Grid Usage Charges: Ensure calculations include correct components like capacity charges, consumption-based fees, and feed-in tariffs.
• Network Losses & Energy Balancing: Validate loss factor application and reconciliation with balancing group data.

Skills and experience needed:

• 10 years+ experience as an SAP ISU consultant, with a deep focus on billing and invoicing
• Experience in design and setup of complex rate structures, billing schemas, RTP interfaces and price management
• Proven experience conducting audits of assets in SAP ISU, with the ability to analyse data, identify issues, and suggest solutions.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with French-speaking clients.

Work Schedule:

• 4 days on-site in Luxembourg, and 1 day remote work per week
