SAP Project Manager (B1 Project)

SAP Project Manager (B1 Project) - English speaking - Arnhem, Netherlands (60% remote/40% onsite). Start Date: 28th July 2025. 6 months+ contract Role - End Client - Expenses Paid! 

Our End client, a specialist production company, is looking to hire an SAP Project Manager, for an SAP BusinessOne project, to work with the business and the System Integration Partner to deliver an upgrade and re-implementation of SAP Business One from current version 9.3 to latest feature release of version 10.

The role will involve coordinating all aspects of the re-implementation process, ensuring compliance with the agreed plan, managing timelines, organising resources, regular reporting and act as the key internal point of contact for the project delivery.

The upgrade and re-implementation of SAP Business One will be across multiple business entities located in the UK, NL and USA, introducing updates and changes to business processes as defined in a blueprint of requirements for future mode of operations.

You will also need to build relationships with internal business stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are maintained throughout the project to ensure a successful outcome.

Main responsibilities:

• Be the project owner for the SAP B1 upgrade project
• Ensure project plan and deliverables are in line with signed statement of work
• Maintain project & system documentation
• Manage project resources and budget.
• Liaise with internal resources and external suppliers wherever necessary
• Ensure functional and acceptance testing plans in place and post testing documentation created.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, providing scheduled and ad-hoc updates, reports and develop project KPI's in line with project plan
• Work closely with supplier project management resources to ensure project tracks to plan and deliverables met
• Ensure deliverables, timelines or resources are effectively managed
• Identify, track and mitigate project risks
• Ensure user training and system adoption is effectively managed
• Work with support partners to transition system into post implementation support
• Ensure updated business process documentation created and imported into SharePoint
• Develop new user onboarding and training material for inclusion into a learning and development platform.

Experience needed:

• At least 5 years' project management experience with SAP system upgrades/installations
• Strong SAP system experience - preferably with some SAP BusinessOne experience 
• Experience with SAP / B1 version upgrades & migrations
• Knowledge of SAP and business processes in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong understanding of finance, supply chain management, production, sales & CRM modules and best practice

 
Additional information:

• The role will initially be based in Arnhem, the Netherlands for the initial 6 months (40% on-site needed) - expenses paid!
