SAP JOB VACANCY:
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Developer

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Developer - English speaking - 100% Remote Working. Start Date: 4th August 2025. 5 months+ Contract Role.

Our client is looking to hire an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Developer / SAP New-Style Developer, for a post project improvements project to the public cloud system implementation, and where solving complex incidents are also needed. This role will also require interaction with the clients' production team, so a high level of English is required.

The technical environment is as follows, and applicants should have experience working with the majority of the following:

Development Environment:

• SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), VS Code, Eclipse with ABAP Cloud

Development Language:

• ABAP (with restrictions – ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model [RAP]), JavaScript, TypeScript (for CAP), or Java

Extension Style:

• Clean Core approach: Side-by-side (via BTP) and in-app using released APIs and extension points

Deployment:

• Via BTP or in-app extensibility – decoupled from the SAP core

Access to SAP Core:

• Limited – only via whitelisted APIs and CDS views (released objects only)

Governance:

• Strict – enforced via SAP upgrade-safe rules, lifecycle awareness

Tooling:

• SAP BAS, Git, CI/CD, APIs, CDS, RAP, CAP (Cloud Application Programming model)

Testing:

• Emphasis on automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Test Double Framework

Additional Information:

• This is a 100% remote working role
