SAP S/4HANA Service (SAP CS) Consultant - French Speaking - Toulouse, France. Hybrid (3 days Onsite / 2 Days remote per week). Flexible Start Date from 7th April 2026 Onwards. 6 Month Contract (High Chance of Extensions).
Our client based in Toulouse, France, requires an SAP S/4HANA Service (CS) Functional Consultant to lead and facilitate Fit to Standard (F2S) workshops for SAP ERP Customer Service as part of an S/4HANA transformation or rollout program. The role focuses on translating business service processes into SAP S/4HANA CS (Customer Service) standard solutions, identifying gaps, and defining scalable, template aligned solutions.
The consultant will act as a key interface between business stakeholders, solution architects, and the delivery team to ensure optimal adoption of SAP S/4HANA CS best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
F2S Workshops & Business Engagement:
- Lead Fit to Standard (F2S) workshops for SAP S/4HANA Service / Customer Service / CS Service Management processes
- Drive workshops covering:
- Service order management
- Notifications & service requests
- Warranty & contracts
- In house repair & third party services
- Service execution and settlement
- Educate business users on SAP S/4HANA CS standard capabilities and recommended best practices
- Capture business requirements, clarify process variants, and challenge non standard demands
Solution Design & Fit Gap Analysis:
- Perform fit gap analysis against SAP S/4HANA CS standard
- Document gaps, workarounds, enhancements, and configuration requirements
- Propose standard first solutions, minimizing custom developments
- Align CS design with end to end processes(Order to Cash, Asset Management, Finance)
Documentation & Deliverables:
- Prepare and maintain:
- F2S workshop decks
- Process flow diagrams
- Fit gap and decision logs
- Functional specification inputs (for gaps only)
- Ensure design decisions are traceable and aligned to the global template
Integration & Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with:
- SAP SD (Order to Cash)
- SAP PM / EAM (Service execution & assets)
- SAP FI/CO (Settlement, revenue recognition)
- Support integration discussions with:
- SAP FSM (Field Service Management), where applicable
- SAP CRM legacy systems (if transitioning to S/4HANA)
Quality & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with:
- SAP Activate methodology
- Program governance and design authority standards
- Support design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and quality checkpoints
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Languages:
- Must be fluent in French (minimum C1 level)
SAP Functional Expertise:
- Strong hands on experience in SAP ERP / S/4HANA Customer Service (CS)
- Proven experience leading F2S or Blueprint workshops in S/4HANA programs
- Solid understanding of:
- Service orders & notifications
- Service contracts & warranties
- Resource related billing and settlement
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Service evolution is a plus
Consulting & Workshop Skills:
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to challenge requirements and drive standardisation
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with global, multi country business teams
Program & Delivery Experience:
- Experience in:
- S/4HANA implementations or rollouts
- Template based deployments
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
- Experience working in large, complex ERP programs preferred
