SAP S/4HANA Test Lead

SAP S/4HANA Test Lead - English Speaking - Remote Work. Start Date. 11th May 2026 (flexible). 7 Month+ Contract Assignment.

Our client, in the IT services sector, is looking to hire an SAP S/4HANA Test Lead, to support their client's move to SAP S/4HANA.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving all aspects of testing, including test planning, leading test teams, managing and following up on incidents, and handling communication and training related to testing across all phases based on established methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive test plan together with the Test CoE team, including scope, approach, and methods
• Lead and support teams of testers, ensuring progress and adequate training for efficient execution
• Oversee test execution, coordinating with business representatives, subject matter experts, architects, developers, and other stakeholders
• Drive testing activities across different test phases, initially focusing on user acceptance testing
• Manage the defect process, including documentation, tracking, and ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with implementation partners and development teams
• Ensure clear and continuous communication with stakeholders, including status updates, risks, and overall progress
• Support and align with central test management and other Test Leads to maintain consistency in methodology and test data coordination

Experience needed:

• Proven leadership experience in test management within large and complex transformation programs
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (experience with agile is an advantage)
• Solid knowledge of end-to-end test data quality management
• Extensive experience with SAP and S/4HANA Testing
• Experience in system implementation projects is required; experience from process industries is advantageous
• Strong documentation skills, including test plans, test cases, and reports
• Excellent test management capabilities, including prioritization, timeline management, and delivery
• Experience with test management tools in large-scale environments
