SAP S/4HANA CO-ML Architect

SAP S/4HANA CO-ML Architect - English speaking. - Cork, Ireland. Start. May 2025. 6 Month contract.

Our client is looking for an SAP S/4HANA CO-ML Architect to provide guidance on advanced costing scenarios and intercompany valuations.

Requirements

• 20 years of experience in SAP FICO
• Experience in leading and managing SAP S/4HANA CO-ML projects and teams.
• Experience of management of concurrent Material Ledger implementations.
• Running workshops.
• Stakeholder management.
• Material Ledger Status Reports.
• Experience with configuration and optimization of Material Ledger (ML)
• Experience with Advanced Costing: 
• Experience with Inventory Valuation: Design and implementation of inventory valuation methods, including standard costing, moving average pricing, and actual costing.
• Experience with Variance Analysis: Configuration and reporting of price and exchange rate variances, and purchase price variances.
• Experience with Centralised Stock Hub: Experience in configuring and implementing centralized stock hub models, including minimal stock ownership to market affiliates.
• Experience with Cross-Company Costing: Configuration of cross-company actual costing and variance allocation by cost component.
• Experience with SAP SD and SAP MM flows, particularly related to material movements, goods receipt/issue, and billing processes impacting Material Ledger.
• Experience with budget upload processes and integration with Material Ledger for cost planning.
• Design and development of custom reports for Material Ledger.
• Experience in manual adjustments and corrections related to Material Ledger postings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA CO-ML solutions.
• Configure and optimize currency design, valuation, standard cost estimates (legal and group valuation), actual costing and reporting.
• Configure and optimize variance analysis and reporting, transfer pricing solutions, and markup elimination intercompany.
• Manage and optimize intercompany transactions, both product and non-product, with seamless integration and accurate valuations.
• Implement robust costing and inventory valuation processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Design and implement solutions for centralized stock hub models with minimal stock ownership to market affiliates.
• Drive the stabilization and optimization of costing and inventory valuation processes, focusing on continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Implement and utilize SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) in relation to Material Ledger processes.
