SAP Tips: How to see the languages installed in your SAP system

SAP available languages can be seen in table T002, but not all the languages therein are installed for use.

SAP systems come with German (DE) and English (EN) pre-installed and ready to use. Additional languages can be imported using transaction SMLT. Here you can see the installed languages in your system:

It is likely, if you are a functional consultant without basis administration security access, that you will not have authorisation to display this transaction. If this is the case, please view table T002C to see the languages installed.

Languages in SAP Fiori

SAP Fiori has (depending upon the Fiori client version) 14 languages available as standard. These can be seen in this link.

If the language used in the GUI is not available in Fiori, then the default language (English) is displayed.
