SAP Functional Consultant - English Speaking – Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hybrid Job (4 days onsite / 1 day remote). Permanent Job with Employment via a PJ (Pessoa Jurídica) / B2B Contract. Flexible Start Date from September 2026 Onwards. Salary USD $84,000 - $110,000 gross per annum (paid via PJ invoicing, equivalent BRL: 435,000 - 570,000) + Equity.
Our client based in Sao Paulo, Brazil is an SAP Build Partner Headquartered in the USA. They are a pioneer in AI technologies who have developed an Agentic Orchestration Platform with AI agents that dramatically accelerate SAP S/4HANA implementations and SAP project delivery. They are a start-up company backed by a $20m investment from venture capitalists to help them rapidly expand.
SAP transformations move billions of dollars and thousands of consultants, but almost none of the knowledge generated on those projects gets captured — it lives in people's heads, disappears when the project ends, and gets rebuilt from scratch on the next one. Their AI system fixes this with an agentic orchestration platform that coordinates every phase of an SAP transformation, capturing decisions, tests, and context as a byproduct of the work already happening — building organizational memory that compounds project over project instead of resetting.
The client is looking for a senior SAP Functional Specialist to support their delivery and product teams on client engagements — someone who has genuinely run fit-gap, built Business Blueprints and configured systems in live SAP programs.
Joining a team of around 20 people, you’ll help the company to further develop their AI system by working alongside their clients on live SAP S/4HANA programmes. You’ll be assessing and qualifying the output of the AI system to ensure it’s accuracy and feeding what you learn back to the engineering team. This is a rare ground-floor role with genuine ownership and a direct line to the product and the founders.
If you've spent years working on SAP projects / implementations, you already know where the time goes — and how much of the work is repetitive, manual and ready for change. This AI platform exists to change it. Joining the company means moving from delivering SAP implementations the old way to shaping how every SAP implementation will be done in the AI era. A few reasons their work resonates with experienced SAP professionals:
- You'll be at the frontier. The AI agent is rethinking S/4HANA delivery from the ground up. Instead of running the same project for the tenth time, you'll apply your hard-won SAP expertise to a product that compounds it.
- Your experience is the differentiator. The company doesn't want you to leave SAP behind — quite the opposite. Your years in the field are exactly what makes you valuable here: you'll translate real project pain into a product that thousands of SAP consultants will use.
- Meaningful upside. The company is backed by a $20M seed round by Venture Partners, with a team rooted at Stanford University, Meta AI, Microsoft, Two Sigma, NASA and SAP. Your equity is a real stake in that trajectory.
- Top-tier partners. You'll work alongside the best names in the ecosystem and more — without the billable-hour treadmill of a pure consulting role.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- You will not perform traditional SAP Functional Consulting tasks yourself. Instead, the AI system will execute the core functional activities you’ve historically delivered hundreds of times. Your role is to validate the AI’s output — reviewing business blueprints, functional specifications, automated configuration/customizing, test data and results, and generated documentation — and provide structured feedback on any errors or gaps to the development team.
- You will work with top tier consulting firms (Deloitte, PwC, NTT Data, Atos, Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, etc.) on live S/4HANA projects. Your responsibility is to observe how their SAP Functional Consultants use the AI system, assess their needs, and continuously evaluate, refine, and recommend enhancements based on real user behaviour and feedback.
- You will collaborate directly with SAP Functional Consultants on active SAP S/4HANA engagements, applying your extensive consulting experience to strengthen, evolve, and optimise the AI system.
- You will build trusted, long term relationships with customers globally, acting as a key point of continuity and expertise.
Required skills and experience:
- Must have a minimum of 8 years' of SAP Functional Consulting experience.
- Must have a background in any of the following core SAP modules: SD, MM, WM, EWM, PP, PM, QM, FI, CO.

- Must have experience running Fit-Gap, building Business Blueprints and Configuring systems in live SAP programs.
- Must have full life cycle end-to-end implementation experience having completed at least two.
- Must be able to start in September or October 2026. The client will only consider applicants with a maximum of up to 8 weeks' notice period.
- You must have a keen interest in AI and be able to demonstrate how you use AI in your day-to-day work / life. They are not looking for an AI engineer or AI expert, but someone who instinctively reaches for AI tools and is energised by them rather than resistant.
- You must be comfortable working in a start-up environment of 20 people. This means you:
