SAP SD/MM Consultant - Dutch Speaking - West Flanders, Belgium. Permanent Job - Start Date: Flexible (July 2026 onwards - will wait for 3 month notice period). Good Salary + Bonus + Benefits (Includes Company Car). End Client.
Our manufacturing client in West Flanders, Belgium, is looking to hire an experienced SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) Consultant with a focus on SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management), with strong experience in SAP implementation and support within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
The role focuses on optimizing and supporting SAP processes related to order entry, supply chain, production, purchasing, and planning, with a good understanding of costing and accounting integrations.
The company is busy with a number of new initiatives, with a focus on system improvements and growth, where the position will involve system roll-outs, company entity integrations and a move from ECC to S/4HANA in the coming 18 months, as well as general adoption of automation and AI.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementation, support, or process optimization roles.
- Strong experience in manufacturing and supply chain business environments with a focus on SAP SD & SAP MM (you must be willing to also learn SAP PP Production Planning)
- Experience working with cross-functional operational processes.
- Exposure to SAP integrations with finance/accounting modules is required.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP Functional Support & Optimization
- Manage and optimize SAP processes related to:
- Order entry and sales operations
- Supply chain management
- Purchasing and procurement
- Production and manufacturing (training/on the job learning will be given if you don't already have SAP PP experience)
- Production planning and scheduling (training/on the job learning will be given if you don't already have SAP PP experience)
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for SAP users.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions and process improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across operational departments.
- Participate in SAP enhancements, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, configurations, and user procedures.
Cross-Functional Business Integration
- Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, purchasing, finance, and production teams.
- Ensure smooth integration between operational processes and SAP business flows.
- Support alignment between SAP modules and financial/costing requirements.
- Assist key users and business stakeholders in process standardization and optimization.
Additional Information:
- This is primarily an on-site role in West Flanders, Belgium, offering 1 day per week remote working.
- Some international travel to other countries will be required on occasion.
