- 7+ years SAP experience (10+ years in IT) specialising in SAP Security & GRC (Access Control) including:
- Security: SAP Security Notes, authorisations, role management, patch management, etc...
- GRC: Access risk, segregation-of-duties (SoD) control & role governance
- Further experience working with SAP FI, CO, Basis, BI/BW & SolMan
- SAP E2E full-lifecycle implementation project experience including S/4HANA migration
- Certifying in SAP Access Control 12.0 (ongoing) and Certified in Security+
- Postgraduate degree held in IT
The candidate has 1 full end-to-end SAP project life cycle, contributing to an SAP FI/CO transition consolidating AP/AR processes from 16 international locations into a shared services environment, with ongoing support across complex SAP landscapes. They are currently involved in an S/4HANA migration programme, responsible for SAP security across a major enterprise landscape. Their expertise spans SAP Security, SAP GRC/Access Control, SAP FI/CO and SAP BASIS (security), with exposure across automotive, healthcare/pharma, electronics distribution and financial services.
They have secured a large SAP landscape during a migration and previously helped build a shared services capability from the ground up, growing a team to around 60 and standardising finance processes. They bring cybersecurity expertise including SOC operations, SIEM, EDR, incident response and threat hunting, plus experience with AI for security automation. They are reliable and communicative in international teams, with career goals in SAP Security and GRC. Outside of work, they enjoy cycling and wargaming.
