SAP DRC / E-Invoicing Team Lead

SAP DRC / E-Invoicing Team Lead - English Speaking. Location: France. Hybrid (4 days remote / 1 day onsite per week). Permanent Job. Flexible Start Date Between October and January. Salary Package up to €82,500/annum + 15% Bonus + Benefits (including €5000 investment fund).

Our client in France is an established international organisation operating within the SAP consulting and technology services sector.

Due to continued investment and growing demand for SAP compliance and e-invoicing solutions, they are seeking an experienced SAP DRC / E-Invoicing Team Lead to take ownership of a specialist consulting team in France.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP consultant or existing team leader looking to combine hands-on technical expertise with people management, solution architecture and client engagement.

The Role:
As SAP DRC / E-Invoicing Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of SAP consultants delivering international compliance and e-invoicing solutions.
The position combines technical leadership, project delivery oversight, people management and pre-sales activities.

You will act as a senior technical and functional point of contact, supporting consultants, advising customers and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP DRC and related compliance solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must have practical, hands-on experience with either SAP DRC or any other e-invoicing solution.
• Must have a good understanding of European indirect tax requirements, such as e-invoicing, SAF-T and real-time VAT reporting.
• Curiosity and appetite to pick up new SAP technologies and functional areas.
• A track record of leading and developing consultants and building a strong, collaborative team.
• Confidence engaging senior client stakeholders and explaining technical topics in business terms.
• A structured, analytical approach to solving problems and improving processes.
• A genuine commitment to client satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Nice to have but not mandatory:

• One or two end-to-end SAP DRC implementations would be a strong advantage but not mandatory.
• Knowledge in SAP FI and/or SD, ideally including how billing integrates with DRC is nice to have.
• Familiarity with SAP FI sub-ledgers (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) is nice to have.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP is nice to have.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is nice to have.
• Pre-Sales experience is nice to have.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 4 SAP consultants, supporting their technical development, performance and career progression.
• Oversee the delivery of SAP DRC and e-invoicing projects across multiple customers and international markets.
• Provide technical and functional leadership for SAP compliance solutions, including solution design, configuration reviews and complex issue resolution.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Review functional specifications, oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure high standards of project delivery.
• Lead requirements-gathering workshops and engage with senior customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical discovery sessions, customer presentations, demonstrations and solution discussions.
• Support the preparation of technical proposals, implementation estimates and responses to customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, technical capabilities and customer satisfaction.

Location:

• You can live anywhere in France, however, this is a hybrid job and you must come into the office at least 1 day per week to be with your team.

Remote work:

• A maximum of 4 days per week of remote work from home is permitted.

Languages:

• Must be fluent in English.

Salary Package:

• The fixed basic salary depends on your skills, knowledge and experience and ranges from €69,500 to €82,500 per annum, plus a 15% bonus. OTE (On Target Earnings) €80,000 – €95,000 gross per annum.
• Employee savings plans (PEE / PERCO). The company contributes a total of €4,400, free of income tax (employer matching contribution), for employees to invest in shares, bonds, etc. of their choice. This €4,400 tax-free contribution is actually equivalent to roughly €5,000 in gross salary.
