Eursap's SAP Tips: Finding standard Workflow templates in your SAP system.

I don’t think I have worked with any SAP system which has not made some use of workflow in some form or other. However, wouldn’t it be useful to see a list of all the standard workflow templates which are available in your SAP system?

Well, there is a way, which works for both SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC 6.0.

Every workflow template is stored as a table entry in table HRS1000.

Therefore, simply open the data browser transaction SE16N and enter table HRS1000.

It’s a good idea to add your language in the LANGU field.

You can also restrict the list by functional area, by adding the function with a wildcard after it – such as “MM*” for materials management workflows, or “FI*” for finance workflows.

Your selection will now look something like this:

When executed, the results will show you all the standard workflow templates for that functional area. For MM workflow templates, for example, I have 99 entries.
