Eursap’s Tip of the Week: Finding SAP Fiori app information in the SAP GUI – Useful key tables

It can be difficult to find SAP Fiori information related to specific apps. However, there are a few key tables, which, once known, can be very useful.

These tables are SUI_TM_MM_APP and the text version of the table, SUI_TM_MM_APPT.

I find it useful to join these tables in a quick view query in SQVI to see the information.

To do this, open SQVI and create a query as normal. Join the two tables by the App ID, as below.

I have set my list and selection fields as below, meaning I can get all the basic information about the apps (e.g. description, app ID, type of app, catalog ID, deprecated status, etc.) by simply adding a description. However, you can play around with this however you like of course.

I can then show all analytical apps (app type “U”) with the words “Sales Order” in the description, by running the query as below. Please be aware that the Tile Title field is case sensitive.

The results are shown below. Here I can see all the analytical apps for “Sales Order” with the app ID, the catalog ID, the SAP Fiori app ID for use in the Fiori apps library, and whether the app is deprecated or not.

I hope you find this useful! Stay tuned for another SAP Tip from Eursap next week.
