Eursap's SAP Tips: More about finding authorisation objects for a transaction in SAP.
In August of 2022, we published a tip around finding authorisation objects for a transaction. Let’s look a little further into this.
An easy way to find the main authorisation object for a transaction is to check the transaction in SE93:

This authorisation object can be seen in table TSTAVT.

As can be seen in TSTAVT, the activity for this authorisation object is “01”:

Activities are as below:
01 – add/create
02 – change
03 – display
06 – delete
There are other activity types – check table TACTT for a full list.
However, there are often several authorisation objects for one transaction. In this case, please refer to the tip mentioned earlier around the use of SU24 or use table USOBT.
